I was experimenting with flash and black dogs. . . challenging. One was taken with the white balance set to incandescent but it read as tungsten, as you see from the blue. The second has the same settings but the white balance is at auto. The first was with full flash; the second is dialed down a bit (-.3) and with a diffuser. I think full flash with diffuser might work too. f 5.5, s 1/60, ISO 400, center-weighted metering.
