In which we learn about a circular polarizer. . . .

One of my goals has been to learn to take a good picture of koi, but I've always had trouble with the water. The solution was a circular polarizer (thank you, Barbra!), and I am busily learning how to use it. This picture was taken from an upper deck, looking down at the stream with the fish. It's not a particularly good picture, but the fish look great and you can totally seem them. Nikon D90, F/11, 1/30, center metering, ISO 400.
